When Bloggers Go Thrifting

Don't you just love a good blogger meetup? This is my third meetup with other bloggers in two months~~I'm on a roll.

This time, me and two other local bloggers went out for a day of thrifting and good eats. I was very excited to go shopping with other girls who enjoy clothes as much as I do. Me, Dany and Mandy hit up not one, but two different thrift stores with great vintage pieces.

First we went to Hospice of the Valley - White Dove Thrift Shop, which is where I did my damage. I got this plum vintage Morris Moskowitz bag, a green wrap belt, a black, white and gold belt, two beaded necklaces, and of course, two pairs of lovely oxford heels in dark brown and black for only $42! The oxfords were only $6 total!

thrift-museDany and Mandy both scored some fun tops and cute accessories as well. We also went to The Hidden Valley, which was full of even more great vintage pieces from the 1960s and a ton of stylish baubles.

thrift-collageAfter our day of shopping we ate at Oregano's Pizza Bistro, which is known for their large portions (we took home boxes), the Gibbilini Bellini and the pizza cookie dessert. We spent the time talking all about blogging and just had an overall great time!

    Love thrifting and food! I try to visit the Brooklyn Flea Market and some thrift stores in the area a few times a month and the stuff I find is spectacular. Looks like you guys had a blast!!!

    I love me a good thrifting excursion! Yes! I have met some bloggers in real life and have been thrilled at how awesome they are: Marissa from Well Appointed Catwalk, Ashley of Ashley4emergy, and Kimberlee of I have a degree in this. I can report that they are fun sweet women in real life too.

    Marissa is coming back to NY soon! So we plan to go thrifting together :).
