To Crochet at Play

Bringing it back to one of my fave color combos with the black and white (FYI, I'm also a big fan of pink with blue and olive with camel). I took these photos before heading out to see Shakespeare in the Park the other day. They did a rendition of The Winter's Tale, and I'm going to be honest here, it's not one of Shakespeare's best. But the experience of sitting in a park on a lazybag couch (Google it), drinking a little mead (how apropos), eating charcuterie and listening to Shakespearean English was an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday night.

This Chicwish skirt is actually a part of a two-piece set -- you might remember when I wore the matching top here. And I think it looks great together (as I'm a big fan of matching separates), but I really enjoy separating the coordinates as well. And if the top looks familiar, too, then it's probably because I wore it almost around the same time last year here. I love fun ways to wear bow details, and I still really haven't seen many tops that look like this one. Have you?

Such a great look. Love everything about it. Glad you had a wonderful time watching the play. I am not much of a play-in-the-park kinda person :D

I love the Chicwish combo! Winter's Tale is not one of Shakespeare's best pieces, but I definitely love munching charcuterie on a cool summer day!

Shakespeare in the Park sounds fun, but The Winter's Tale isn't one of my favorites... Love this look! That skirt is beautiful :)

What a fun skirt, I love the crochet and flouncy hem. Shakespeare in the park sounds like fun! We have that here too although it's been a long time since I've gone.

Got a peek of this look on Insta and the full effect is even more fabulous. Black and white always has such great graphic appeal and the crochet texture of your skirt just plays it up to full effect!

The skirt is fabulous on you and you know how much I love crochet. But, I have to say that your top is to die for. . .
